PicklePalooza Planned In Lower Makefield Township

Lower Makefield Township officials are planning three hours for the popular pickleball event on May 11. It was rescheduled from April 20.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —PicklePalooza is bouncing back onto the township's schedule.

Lower Makefield Township Supervisors were expected at their meeting Wednesday night to approve a date change that reschedules the popular sporting event to the rain date of Saturday, May 11, from its original date of Saturday, April 20.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to Noon at Memorial Park.

Registration is now reopened via CourtReserve. Those previously registered don’t need to re-register.

Middletown Township recently touted its pickleball activities, saying it has 11 courts and encouraging residents to check out the popular sports craze that has swept the nation over the past few years.
