Pretty Bird Coffee Makes Smash With Burgers In Yardley

YARDLEY, PA —It's a coffee shop by day and a burger joint at night.

Pretty Bird Coffee has been a staple in the borough's downtown district —and that's even with a Starbucks a stone's throw away on South Main Street.

Recently, the business decided to go hybrid, banking on burgers to draw in the evening crowd who have been so perked up by coffee in the morning that they're ready to sink their teeth into something savory in the evening.

So they introduced Pretty Burger. See menu below.

"We just recently launched the smash burger restaurant that was a part of Pretty Bird as its own entity—Pretty Burger," said Allyson Malandra, who handles digital marketing for Vault Brewing and its companies like Pretty Bird Coffee. "As far as Pretty Bird Coffee goes, it’s been a neighborhood favorite for quite some time now."

Pretty Bird Coffee Roasters opened in April 2017. The coffee business specializes in lattes, house-made pastries, and breakfast and lunch from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily.

But Malandra said owners wanted to utilize the same space at night.

At 3:30 p.m. on most days, the switch is made from Pretty Bird to Pretty Burger

Now Pretty Burger is open six days a week with smash burgers, hand-cut fries, salads, beer, and milkshakes. Dine-in, take-out, and online ordering are available,

The hours for Pretty Burger are Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
