If you're a member of team I Love Pumpkin, then we have some good news for you: Pumpkin ice cream has arrived. (If you're a member of team I Hate Pumpkin you can stop reading now.)
Shady Brook Farm, which is home to Uncle Dave's Homemade Ice Cream, announced this week that the popular flavor is ready for your consumption.

Fear not, if ice cream isn't your thing, you can always ingest the signature fall flavor through a pumpkin spice latte, which have been available at Starbucks since late August.
Without fail, the pumpkin spice craze takes over promptly at the start of September and lasts until about Thanksgiving only to be overthrown by its less-popular counterpart, gingerbread spice.

And while we love most things pumpkin, including the local ice cream, we would agree with Eater that there are simply some things that have no business being served in this flavor. (Really, do you think your dog wants a pumpkin spice Greenie?)
Back to the ice cream: it's now available at Shady Brook Farm, 931 Stony Hill Rd, Yardley.
