Road Paving Project Progresses In Lower Makefield

Paving operations are expected to be completed for several areas throughout Lower Makefield this week, officials said.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The township's road paving project is progressing with several roads expected to be completed this week, officials said.

Township officials have put out a list of the roads expected to be milled and paved over the next few days.

The roads are:

  • Thursday — Mill South Crescent Boulevard and Kathryn Court
  • Friday — Mill Southridge Circle and Brookbend Court, Pave S Crescent and Kathryn Court
  • Monday — Mill Clarendon Court, Pave Southridge and Brookbend road
  • Monday 8/31 — Pave Clarendon Court

Scheduled dates and locations are subject to change if there is inclement weather.

Traffic will be maintained, and access to homes will remain available; however, delays are expected, township officials said.

No parking will be permitted within the active construction zone.

All vehicles should be off the roadway between 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to avoid possible towing.

Residents are urged to use caution when traveling through the area, follow posted signs and directions, and avoid driving through fresh tack oil, which may damage vehicles.
