See 'Peter Pan JR' At Charles Boehm Middle School

The student production is scheduled for March 29-30 at the middle school in Yardley.

YARDLEY, PA — Charles Boehm Middle School is inviting you to join the Lost Boys at its upcoming production of "Peter Pan JR."

Based on the classic J.M. Barrie Peter Pan story, the play will be presented Friday and Saturday, March 29-30, at the school, located at 866 Big Oak Rd. in Yardley.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The 2 p.m. performance will be a special sensory/autism-friendly performance. Certain aspects of the show will be altered to allow those with sensory issues to enjoy the production.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online by visiting the Charles Boehm website or at the door 45 minutes prior to each performance. You can reach the website by vising the Pennsbury School District website and choosing Charles Boehm under "Schools."

In "Peter Pan JR," Wendy, Michael and John Darling meet and befriend Peter Pan when he and Tinker Bell visit their nursery in search of Peter's lost shadow. They are whisked away to Neverland, where they meet Peter's fellow Lost Boys and adventure awaits.

The musical features music by Morris "Moose" Charlap with additional music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Carolyn Leigh with additional lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. The show was originally directed, choreographed, and adapted by Jerome Robbins.
