Sextortion Scam, Trespassing Top Lower Makefield Crimes
The Lower Makefield Township Police Department released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A sextortion scam and criminal trespassing were among the recent incidents the Lower Makefield Township Police Department reported in its blotter on Friday.

BLACKMAIL & EXTORTION —1900 block of South Crescent Boulevard, reported at 12:30 a.m. The complainant reported falling victim to a sextortion scam. An investigation is ongoing.

CRIMINAL TRESPASSING —700 block of Big Oak Road at St. John’s Church, reported at 10:05 a.m. An employee reported a previously trespassed female attempting to enter the office of the church. A records check revealed the 61-year-old female from Trenton, N.J., was wanted out of Bucks County. She was taken into police custody and will be cited for trespassing. She was turned over to the Bucks County Sheriff's Office.
FRAUD —2000 block of Farmview Drive, reported at 6:48 p.m. The complainant reported sending an copy of their driver’s license to who they believed to be Xfinity when attempting to switch cable providers. After speaking with someone they thought to be from Xfinity, they were advised to deposit money into a Bitcoin machine. It was determined to be a scam and they are missing $4,000 from their account.

FRAUD —900 block of Baron Drive, reported at 11:45 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown
person(s) used their information on an online betting site resulting in the loss of $17,000.
THEFTS:
- 600 block of Township Line Road at Floral Creek, reported at 1:15 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of a necklace.
- 1300 block of Yale Drive, reported at 3 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of passports.
IDENTITY THEFT —300 block Daleview Drive, reported at 4:20 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) purchased a cell phone in their name.
CREDIT CARD FRAUD —400 block of Hidden Oaks Drive, reported at 5:17 p.m. The complainant reported an unauthorized use of their credit card for $736.68.

THEFT —2000 block of Quarry Road, reported at 5:03 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of
check from a mailbox.
