YARDLEY, PA —It's a new year and the dawning of a new day.
Yardley Photographer Josh Friedman captured the second-to-last sunrise of 2024 with this snapshot behind the Old Library at Lake Afton.

"The sun kept popping out from the swift-moving clouds, and then hiding again for several seconds," Friedman said. "This made the photograph a little tricky."
As it was a high-contrast scene, Friedman said he knew he needed to blend several exposures together.
