Yardley photographer Josh Friedman captures landscape frames of scenes throughout Bucks County in this Patch photo feature.

Editor's Note —This is a weekly photograph series.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —Wednesday marks the 23rd anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on America where we will reflect on that tragic day and remember where we were at when the news first broke.
The township has a deep connection to the attacks in which Victor Saracini was killed when the United Airlines flight 175 he piloted was highjacked and flown into the World Trade Center.

Lower Makefield Township created the "Garden of Reflection" and holds a ceremony there each year to pay respects to the 18 people from Lower Bucks County who lost their lives on 9/11.

With the anniversary of 9/11 coming up, Friedman recently paid an early morning visit to the Garden of Reflection 9/11 Memorial.
"This is the rising sun, behind the two fountains, symbolic of the "Twin Towers," which fell that day," Friedman said. "I post this in memory of all of those who died on that tragic day, and with thoughts of their loved ones."
For photography enthusiasts, Friedman took the HDR (high dynamic range) snapshot from four exposures that he merged.
