Stolen Lawnmower, Tomato Plants Top Morrisville Crimes
The Morrisville Police Department has released its blotter of recent criminal incidents.
MORRISVILLE, PA —With the unofficial start of summer this weekend, police are seeing crimes that have to do more with the outdoors: A stolen lawnmower and stolen tomato plants.
Those two crimes were among the criminal incidents released in the Morrisville Police Department's blotter this week.

Warrant/Simple Assault/Other Charges —May 14, 2:55 p.m. A warrant has been issued for a 38-year-old woman for an incident that occurred on the 200 block of Hillcrest Avenue.
Theft from Motor Vehicle —May 14, 3:38 p.m. Report of money stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Value: $50.

Arrest/Harassment —May 14, 11:36 p.m. A 25-year-old woman was cited for a domestic incident on the 600 block of Hamilton Avenue.
Fraud —May 15, 4:15 p.m. Report of a computer virus scam where the victim was instructed to transfer $4,000 into cryptocurrency.
Arrest/Warrant —May 15, 6:16 p.m. A 42-year-old man was brought to police headquarters by the Sheriff’s Deputies on a warrant for a fraud incident on July 28.. He was processed and sent to Bucks County Prison.
Fraud —May 16, 10:20 a.m. The victim reported trying to log into Facebook and forgetting his password. To reset the password, he called a number where he was instructed to send a picture of their license, credit card, and debit card. After doing this, $15,000 was taken from the victim’s account from a company called Alibaba.
Theft From Building —May 16, 12:25 p.m. Report of a delivered package stolen from an apartment on the 300 block of Plaza Boulevard. Value: $200.
Arrest/Harassment —May 17, 2 a.m. A 27-year-old man was cited for a domestic incident at an apartment complex on the 400 block of Plaza Boulevard.
Attempted Motor Vehicle Theft —May 17, 6:39 p.m. Report of rear driver’s side window smashed and the ignition damaged on a Kia Forte on the 100 block of West Maple Avenue.
Arrest/Disorderly Conduct/Public Drunkenness —May 18, 3:40 p.m. A 21-year-old man was cited for an incident at the Quality Inn on South Pennsylvania Avenue.
Motor Vehicle Theft —May 18, 5:51 a.m. Report of a Chevrolet Traverse stolen on the 300 block of Hillcrest Avenue. At 11:54 owner was notified that the vehicle was recovered by the Trenton Police Department.
Arrest/DUI —May 18, 8:57 p.m. A 19-year-old man was arrested for Driving under the Influence when the police responded to an unconscious person in a vehicle at North Delmorr and East Trenton Avenues. He was processed and released pending a summons to court.
Theft —May 18, 10:36 p.m. Report of a package containing tomato plants was stolen from a residence on the 600 block of Rutland Avenue. Value: $50.
Arrest/DUI —May 19, 6:54 a.m. A 34-year-old man was arrested for Driving Under the Influence after a traffic accident on North Pennsylvania Avenue and West Bridge Street. He was processed and released pending a summons to court.
Arrest/Borough Ordinance —May 19, 8:12 p.m. A 41-year-old man was cited for an open fire on the 300 block of Cox Avenue.
Theft —May 20, 9:50 a.m. Report of a stolen Toro Lawn Mower from a residence’s front lawn on the 300 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue. Value: $250.
Theft —May 20, 10:07 a.m. Report of a stolen package containing woman’s clothing from outside an apartment on the 400 block of Plaza Boulevard. Value: $326.
Criminal Mischief to Motor Vehicles —May 20, 8:02 p.m. Report of the back driver-side window smashed on a Kia Sorrento at an apartment complex on the 400 block of Plaza Boulevard.
Criminal Mischief to Motor Vehicle —May 20, 10:15 p.m. Report of the steering wheel and ignition tampered with on a Kia Optima at an apartment complex on the 400 block of Plaza Boulevard.
Arrest/Narcotics Possession —May 20, 10:50 p.m. A 43-year-old man was arrested during a patrol check on Washington and West Bridge Street. He was processed and released pending a summons to court.
Theft —May 7, 6:40 p.m. Report of a wallet stolen while at an apartment complex’s playground on the 300 block of Plaza Boulevard. Value: $48.
Arrest/Warrant —May 7, 6:31 p.m. A 28-year-old man turned himself in on a warrant for a Feb. 7 incident that occurred at the Mega Pawn Shop on East Bridge Street. He was processed and released pending a summons to court.
Arrest/Simple Assault —May 7, 9:33 p.m. A 26-year-old woman was arrested for a domestic incident at an apartment complex on the 100 block of East Maple Avenue. She was processed and released pending a summons to court.
Fraud —May 9, 3:01 p.m. Victim reported receiving a bill from Discover Credit Card for $12,465.29. She advised police that she did not open the credit card with Discover.
Theft —May 10, 4:08 p.m. Report of money stolen from a home on the 100 block of Bank Street. Value: $70.
