The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —With Tuesday's primary election, the theft of political signs was among the top crimes reported by the Lower Makefield Township Police Department in its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
These are the criminal incidents:
April 18

FRAUD:
- Unit block of Maplevale Drive, reported at 9:04 a.m. The complainant reported receiving a notification from who they believed to be PayPal and provided their personal information. The victim then received a call from their bank stating suspicious activity on their account.
- 300 block of North Fieldstone Court, reported at 2:35 p.m. The complainant reported purchasing a firearm online and never received it.
April 16

THEFT —Newtown-Yardley Road and Creamery Road, reported at 11:42 a.m. The complainant
reported the theft of political signs. Further investigation led to the identity of the 51-year-old Lower Makefield Township man. Charges are pending.
April 15
RETAIL THEFT —1600 block of Big Oak Road at Shop Rite, reported at 11:25 a.m. Loss Prevention reported that on April 10, an unknown male removed $152.43 worth of merchandise without paying.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS —1200 block of Revere Road, reported at 1:30 p.m. The complainant reported previous residents returning to the property after being trespassed from the location. A 51-year-old Lower Makefield Township man was cited for Criminal Trespass.
April 10
DUI ARREST —200 block of Valley Drive, reported at 10:17 p.m. Police responded to the report of a vehicle hitting two of their parked vehicles. Further investigation led to the arrest of an 18-year-old male Lower Makefield Township driver for Driving Under the Influence.
