These 16 Beers Brewed In Pennsylvania Are Among Best In America, Experts Decide

Just in time for the weekend: 16 beers brewed in Pennsylvania are among the best in the country, judges at a major beer competition say.

Sixteen of the country's best beers are brewed right here in Pennsylvania. That's according to the judges at the Great American Beer Festival, held earlier this month in Denver, Colo.

Three of the competition's gold medal winners were from Pennsylvania. The Keystone State also boasted six silver winners and seven bronze winners.

The Brewers Association's Great American Beer Festival was held Oct. 5 - 7 and featured the best beers from 800 breweries. More than 60,000 people attended the event, and nearly 3,900 beers were included in the competition.
