LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Traffic signal upgrades are underway at a key township intersection.

The improvements are part of the township’s ongoing commitment to enhancing roadway safety — particularly in areas with high pedestrian activity such as school zones and walkable corridors — helping to create a safer environment for students, residents, and motorists alike.

This traffic signal modernization project is funded in part through the Automated Red-Light Enforcement (ARLE) Grant Program administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, officials said.
