Van Flips On Eastbound Interstate 295

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — A van flipped on its side on Monday afternoon on icy eastbound Interstate 295, authorities said.

The Yardley-Makefield Fire Company and Newtown Fire Rescue responded to the single-vehicle accident with entrapment on eastbound Interstate 295 at 12:09 p.m. on Monday.

Fire officials said the driver was able to get out of the van without assistance from the fire department.

It was unknown whether the driver was injured or what caused the crash.
