Vault Brewing Co. Names New Executive Chef
William Porras has worked with James Beard award-winning chefs. He will lead the kitchen at the South Main Street brewpub in Yardley.

YARDLEY, PA —The Vault Brewing Co. has a new executive chef and plans to make some menu item changes.
The brewpub on 10 S. Main St. announced on Facebook Tuesday that William Porras will take over the kitchen, bringing with him 18 years of experience and training under well-respected chefs.
Porras was born in Somerville, N.J., and grew up in Schuylkill County in a true farm-to-table environment, developing a passion for food at a young age, the brewpub said.

Porras started at a young age as a porter before working his way up the food chain to become a chef.
Vault Brewing Co. said that Porras also worked on the West Coast, with James Beard Award-winning chefs such as Jean-Georges, Janos Wilder, David Viana, and Alan Heckman.

Now leading the culinary team at “Vault,” Porras will offer a diverse menu and seasonal and sustainable products that taste great and support local farmers.
Vault Brewing Co. said that Porras enjoys seeking out local delicacies such as ramps, fiddlehead ferns, morels, and chanterelles. When he's not in the kitchen working, he's cooking at home with his daughter Clementine.
