Vehicle Thefts, Terroristic Threats Top Morrisville Crimes
The Morrisville Borough Police Department has released its blotter of recent criminal incidents.
MORRISVILLE, PA —Several vehicle thefts were handled by police along with one man who stole merchandise from two retailers after being caught once.
The Morrisville Police Department has released its blotter of recent criminal incidents for the period of Aug. 8 through Aug. 28.
The criminal incidents are:

Motor Vehicle Theft —Aug. 8, 1:32 a.m. Report of a 2010 Hyundai Elantra stolen from the 7-11 parking lot on South Pennsylvania Avenue. The owner left the vehicle with the engine running went she went into the store. The vehicle was recovered by Hamilton Township Police. Value: $2,500.
Theft —Aug. 9. 3:14 p.m. Report of two pair of Vesace frames stolen from Design for Vision on E. Trenton Avenue. Value: $800.

Theft —Aug. 9, 3:36 p.m. Report of a handgun stolen on Harrison Avenue. Value: $300.
Arrest/Search Warrant —Aug. 1, 9:10 a.m. Morrisville Police assisted Bucks County Detectives in the search and arrest of a 34-year-old man on South Washington Street. He was processed and sent to Bucks County Prison.
Theft —Aug. 10, 2:50 p.m. Report of a handgun and suppressor were stolen from a home on Stockham Avenue. Value: $1,750.
Arrest/Warrant —Aug. 12, 5:25 p.m. A 24-year-old man was taken into custody for an active warrant from Middletown Township Police Department on Woodland Avenue. He was transported to Middletown Township Police Department.
Arrest/DUI/Possession —Aug. 14, 9:19 p.m. A 54-year-old woman was arrested for driving under the influence and drug possession at Baker and Robertson Avenues. She was processed and released pending summons to court.
Arrest/Drug Possession —Aug. 15, 10:50 p.m. A 37-year-old man was arrested for drug possession in the Mill Pond Shopping Center parking lot on South Pennsylvania Avenue. He was processed and released.
Arrest/Harassment —Aug. 16, 10:55 p.m. A 25-year-old man was cited for harassment for a domestic dispute at the Quality Inn on South Pennsylvania Avenue.
Arrest/Public Drunkenness —Aug. 17, 5:07 a.m. A 41-year-old was cited for public drunkenness at the Dunkin Donuts on West Bridge Street.
Arrest/Possession/Fleeing and Eluding a Police Officer —Aug. 17, 12:24 p.m. A 32-year-old man was arrested for drug possession, fleeing and eluding a police officer, and traffic offenses following a traffic stop on East Bridge and Washington streets. He was processed and released.
Arrest/Warrant/Fleeing and Eluding a Police Officer —Aug. 17, 3:44 p.m. A 37-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant from New Jersey after a traffic stop at East Trenton and North Pennsylvania Avenues and transported to Trenton Police Department. A warrant will be issued for fleeing and eluding a police officer and traffic offenses in Morrisville.
Arrest/DUI —Aug. 17, 11:26 p.m. A 27-year-old was arrested for driving under the influence after an incident on East Philadelphia and South Delmorr Avenues. He was processed and released.
Arrest/DUI/Possession —Aug. 19, 10:48 p.m. A 53-year-old woman was arrested for driving under the influence and drug possession after a traffic stop on W. Trenton Avenue. She was processed and released.
Arrest/Retail Theft —Aug. 20, 4:29 p.m. A 43-year-old man was arrested for stealing merchandise from the Dollar Tree on East Trenton Avenue. He was processed and released. Dollar Tree reported he stole merchandise again on Aug. 21 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On Aug. 23, Falls Township Police arrested him for retail theft at the Wawa on West Trenton Avenue and sent him to Bucks County Prison.
Arrest/Disorderly Conduct —Aug. 20, 7 p.m. A female juvenile will be charged with disorderly conduct for an incident on Center Street.
Motor Vehicle Theft —Aug. 20, 10:32 p.m. Report of a 2008 Ford Focus stolen after the victim left the vehicle running to go into a store for takeout food in the Morrisville Shopping Center on East Trenton Avenue.
Arrest/Warrant —Aug. 22, 11:36 a.m. A 39-year-old man was transported from Mercer County Jail to Morrisville Police Headquarters for an active warrant for terrorist threats that occurred in February. He was processed and released.
Arrest/Disorderly Conduct —Aug. 22, 6 p.m. A male juvenile will be charged with disorderly conduct for an incident at the Morrisville High School.
Arrest/Criminal Mischief/Disorderly Conduct —Aug. 23, 3:10 p.m. A 27-year-old woman will be cited for criminal mischief and disorderly conduct for an incident that occurred at an apartment on Plaza Boulevard.
Arrest/Warrant/Drug Possession —Aug. 26, 9:57 a.m. A 37-year-old man was arrested during a pedestrian stop on South Pennsylvania Avenue. He was arrested for drug possession and for an outstanding warrant from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department. He was processed and released to the Sheriff's Office.
Arrest/Public Drunkenness —Aug. 26, 10:26 a.m. A 45-year-old man was cited for public drunkenness for an incident on East Bridge and Washington streets.
Arrest/Warrant —Aug. 26, 8:10 p.m. A 59-year-old woman was arrested for an active warrant for Failure to Appear. She was processed and released to the Sheriff's Office.
Motor Vehicle Theft —Aug. 27, 5:03 a.m. Report of a Honda Civic stolen on Barclay Avenue. The key was left in a separate unlocked vehicle at the residence. Value: $12,000.
Arrest/Sale of Tobacco products —Aug. 28. The Department of Health conducted compliance checks for selling tobacco to underage minors. Three businesses were cited.
Theft —Aug. 28, 1:16 p.m. Report of used cooking oil stored in a container in the back of business was stolen sometime over the past two weeks. Value: $25.
