Water Main Flushing Begins In Lower Makefield Township
The Morrisville Water Department said the flushing begins Monday and lasts until Oct. 20. Residents may notice lower water pressure.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —The flushing of water mains in the township begins Monday and is expected to last throughout the township through Oct. 20, township officials said.
The Morrisville Water Department will conduct the flushing of water mains between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the areas shown on the schedule below.
Residents in the area being flushed, and the adjacent areas, may notice a slight discoloration in the water and low water pressure during the period when flushing is in progress. Flushing is conducted semi-annually to clean mains and the disturbance, if any, is less than an hour duration.

Residents are advised to refrain from using water for drinking, cooking, home dialysis or clothes washing while the flushing is in progress.

- Monday/Tuesday, Oct. 10/11 —All streets north of Trenton Avenue and east and west of Pennsylvania Avenue to Pine Grove Road.
- Tuesday/Wednesday, Oct. 11/12 —All streets west of Pine Grove Road to Daleview and Kent roads.
- Wednesday/Thursday/Friday, Oct. 12/13/14 —All streets between Trenton Avenue and Bridget Street and east of and including Hamilton Boulevard.
- Friday/Monday/Tuesday, Oct. 15/17/18 —All streets between Trenton Avenue and Bridge Street and west of Hamilton Boulevard.
- Sunday, Oct. 16 —KTC System.
- Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, Oct. 18/19/20 —All streets between Bridge Street and Post Road. Tues/Wed/Thur. Oct 18/19/20.
