Woman, 57, Arrested For Assault In Yardley

YARDLEY, PA — A 57-year-old woman is under arrest after police say she was involved in an assault on South Main Street in Yardley.

On Monday, the Yardley Borough Police Department was contacted by officers in Falls Township about a report of a domestic dispute they were investigating. The incident had reportedly happened along the 200 block of South Main Street.

A Yardley officer visited an address there, where police say he interviewed witnesses and located physical evidence. As a result, the 57-year-old woman, from Levittown, was charged with simple assault, according to police.
