Woman Pulled Over For Speeding, Wanted On Warrant In Yardley

A 23-year-old King of Prussia woman had an outstanding warrant with Bucks County Adult Probation, police said.

YARDLEY, PA —A 23-year-old King of Prussia woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant after being pulled over for speeding, police said.

The Yardley Borough Police Department said a police officer pulled the woman over at 8:18 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of South Main Street.

Police said an officer on patrol was notified of a vehicle with an expired/suspended registration.

The officer observed the vehicle and utilized a timing device noting that the vehicle was speeding.

The officer conducted a traffic stop and the driver was determined to be operating the vehicle without a valid license, registration, or insurance.

Police confirmed the driver had an active arrest warrant issued by Bucks County Adult Probation.

The woman was arrested on the warrant, processed, and remanded to Bucks County Prison.

The vehicle was impounded and additional motor vehicle violations may be filed, police said.

Police said the matter is pending a court date.
