Woman Fatally Stabbed By Ex-Boyfriend In Lower Bucks: Police
Lower Makefield Township Police said the man is in custody after leading them on a chase on Interstate 295 before being apprehended.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A woman was fatally stabbed by her boyfriend Friday afternoon on Waterford Road, police said.
Lower Makefield Township Police said officers responded to a disturbance on Waterford Road at 2:45 p.m. Friday, where they discovered a man stabbing a 19-year-old woman.
Despite officers' immediate response with life saving measures, the woman victim died of multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

The suspect, identified as Trever Weigel, 23 years old, fled the scene, prompting a pursuit by law enforcement on Interstate 295.
During the chase, Weigel inflicted self-harm by stabbing himself. Police successfully apprehended him using a Taser, and he is currently under custody.
