New Yardley Borough EAC Holds 1st Meeting
The borough board will focus on protecting Yardley's environment.

YARDLEY BOROUGH, PA —The borough has a newly appointed group that is sanctioned with protecting the environment.
The Yardley Environmental Advisory Commission held its first gathering last month with its newly appointed members.
The board features Chairperson Jesse Clark and members Patty Kleiner, Zack Bark, Tracey Hemmerle, and Ambika Namboodiripad.

Yardley has held an EAC for years but this was the inaugural gathering of the group for the first time this year.
Councilman David Appelbaum serves as the EAC's liaison.

The EAC was established to protect the natural resources within the Borough and create community awareness.
EAC members work together to build an environmentally sustainable community by championing and promoting natural resource conservation, and consideration of environmental impacts in decision-making, education, and awareness of environmental issues in Yardley Borough.
