YARDLEY BOROUGH, PA — The Yardley Historical Association is holding a walking tour on Saturday afternoon of the borough's first municipal building.

Susan Taylor, president of the Yardley Historical Association, said that Yardley's first municipal building still stands just east of today's Borough Hall.

The event takes place at 2 p.m. on Saturday at 56 South Main Street

Taylor said that while there aren't many miles to cover on the walking tour, there are lot of discoveries to make and stories to tell.

The tour will feature Taylor and new Mayor Caroline Thompson.

Attendees can learn about borough government, its buildings, and its operations.

"You'll be surprised how many things have gone on here since 1895," Taylor said.
