Yardley Council Shuffles Committee Representatives

With new Yardley Councilman Uri Feiner on board, the council had to change up who serves on various committees.

YARDLEY, PA —With a new member on board, the Yardley Borough Council has changed up its committee lineup of representatives.

"We've done a little bit of shuffling on our council committees," Council President Caroline Thompson said at the board's Feb. 7 meeting.

She said most committees are unchanged but that changes needed to be made with the addition of Councilman Uri Feiner, who replaced the departed Matt Ross.

Among the current committees:

  • Community and Economic Development - Councilman John McCann chairs, David Appelbaum is a member.
  • Public Works —Councilman Uri Feiner chairs, Councilman Don Carlson is a member and manager of the sidewalks project. Councilman John McCann is a member and project manager for the Mary Yardley Bridge.
  • Community Outreach —Councilman David Appelbaum chairs with Councilwoman Kim Segal-Morris as a member.
  • Public Safety —Councilwoman Kim Segal-Morris chairs with Councilman Matt Curtin as a member.
  • General Government —Councilman Matt Curtin chairs with Councilman Don Carlson as a member.
