Yardley Wedding Weekend Showcased Sunday
Yardley borough businesses are teaming up to provide a wedding planning event that organizers say often appears at conventions.
YARDLEY, PA —They're calling it a wedding weekend.
Borough businesses are banding together for an event Sunday that provides all wedding needs in this walkable Bucks County downtown.
From Noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, those interested in planning a wedding can stroll along Main Street and visit several shops to seek information from local business specialists and 20 wedding service vendors at the free event presented by Krysset Artisan Boutique.

Among the businesses involved are Krysset Artisan Boutique, Vault Brewing Company, FZ Works, Yardley General, and Salon Millan, among others.
In April, Owner Jessica from Krysset Artisan Boutique appeared before Yardley Borough Council at the invitation of Councilman David Appelbaum to pitch the event.

Krysset stated that the event would draw people to the downtown and also show that Yardley offers more than service and food-based businesses.
The event was pitched for a Saturday and Sunday, but organizers settled on a Sunday date.
Krysset hopes to repeat the wedding weekend each year.
"I appreciate the collaborative spirit," Appelbaum said.
