For York diners, the report highlights minor problems like dirty equipment, missing sanitizer supplies, and hair-restraint lapses, along with many clean bills of health across the county.

Pennsylvania state park swimming pool closed amid power outage (abc27.com) — If you were planning a late-season swim at Codorus State Park in southern York County, be aware the pool and splash pad are closed due to a power outage. The closure comes just a day before the facilities were scheduled to shut for the season, and officials haven't said when power, or access, will be restored.
   

4. Good Samaritans credited after 'mass casualty' York County crash (abc27.com) — A serious seven-vehicle crash on Route 15 near Dillsburg in York County sent 14 people to area hospitals, but quick-thinking bystanders helped families escape with mostly survivable injuries. York County emergency officials praised regional cooperation and emphasized how preparedness has improved since 9/11, while locals involved urged everyone to always buckle up before driving.
   

5. 14 hospitalized in overturned tractor-trailer crash (lewistownsentinel.com) — A major seven-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 15 near Dillsburg in York County sent 14 people to five hospitals and shut the highway at Mountain Road for nearly nine hours. Emergency crews, including York County and state investigators, are still determining what caused the tractor-trailer carrying frozen food to overturn and trigger the chain reaction.
