Rhode Island is in for a rainy weekend.
The rain starts Saturday night, mainly after 10 p.m., then continues into Sunday, when the temperature will reach 53 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Expect more rain Sunday night as the mercury dips to 39 degrees, and even more rain Monday, although it will be partly sunny with a high near 56, the National Weather Service forecast says.
The rain finally stops Monday night with a low temperature of about 40 degrees.
The rain returns Tuesday night, per the National Weather Service forecast, and continues through at least Thursday.
The high temperature Wednesday and Thursday will be in the upper 50s and the low Wednesday night will be about 45 degrees.
