The sun will shine on Rhode Island this weekend.
Following a Friday night of scattered showers and patchy fog, the sun comes out Saturday and the high temperature will climb to 71 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday night is partly cloudy with a low around 55 degrees, the National Weather Service says, but the sun comes back out Sunday and the temperature soars to 80 degrees.
