PROVIDENCE, RI — The Roger Williams Park Zoo revealed its lineup of June and July events.
The events are:

June 6, Bugs Family Night: Families can enjoy a fun-filled evening at the Zoo and embark on a big adventure as a tiny explorer in A Bug’s World from 5-9 pm. Your ticket includes evening access to the entire Zoo and the A Bug’s World experience. Come face to face with over 60 larger-than-life animatronic caterpillars, beetles, spiders, and more!

June 20, World Soccer Day: Kick it with us at the Zoo for a World Soccer Day celebration where we honor the global game, the community, and the spirit of the summer of soccer! Guests can enjoy interactive fan zones with local soccer organizations: New England Revs, RIFC, and Boston Legacy. Plus, enjoy keeper chats while watching our animals get in on the action with special soccer-themed enrichment sessions. Wear your favorite soccer team’s jersey to the Zoo and receive $5 off adult admission!

June 27, Zoobilee — Party with a Purpose (21 and over only): Party with a purpose at the Zoo’s 34th annual Zoobilee presented by Beacon Bank. Join us for a night of roaring fun, all for a great cause! Indulge in delicious bites from dozens of the area’s top restaurants and sip on refreshing cocktails. Dance the night away and get to know some of your favorite furry (and feathery) friends with special encounters. Plus, your ticket helps save wildlife and wild places! Every dollar raised at Zoobilee supports the Zoo’s mission of conservation and education.

July 4, City of Providence Residents Free Day and $4 Admission for Everyone Else!: As a “thank you” to the city of Providence residents whose tax money helps to support the Zoo, the first Saturday of every month is free to residents of the City of Providence (not East or North Providence). A valid ID and proof of residency must be shown at the ticket window, no need to reserve your tickets in advance. And to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, tickets are priced at $4 valid for July 4 only, rain or shine.

July 5, A Bug’s World Sensory Morning: From 8-9 a.m., enjoy a special sensory-friendly morning an hour before the bug’s trail opens to the public: designed for those with autism spectrum disorders and sensory processing differences and their families. The Zoo will open to the rest of the public at 9 a.m. It is recommended to get there between 8-8:30 a.m. to have time to fully enjoy the experience. July 11, Party with Pride (21 and over only): Embrace your wild side and Party with Pride, an unforgettable evening celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community! This 21+ event invites queer adults and their allies to experience the Zoo after hours. Get ready for a fantastic lineup of entertainment and drag performances! Discover fascinating “Nature is Queer” animal chats, alongside pride-themed animal enrichment activities. Enjoy zoo-themed cocktails at pop-up cash bars scattered throughout the Zoo. Connect with local LGBTQIA+ and allied organizations, and so much more!
