ACI Investigators Arrest 2 Rhode Island Men Wanted In Massachusetts: Cops

Two Rhode Island men wanted in Massachusetts were arrested by the Adult Correctional Institutions Investigations Unit, police said.

Joshua Mateer, 43, and David Aybar, 40, were fugitives from justice, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Mateer, a resident of Narragansett, and Aybar, a resident of Pawtucket, were arrested Tuesday, the release said.

The two men were arraigned in Third Division District Court where he was remanded into the custody of the sheriff's department, according to the release.
