Bally's Picked For Rhode Island's 2nd Online Sports Book License: Reports

The state has been a single online sports book operator since 2019, according to media reports.

Rhode Island picked Bally's for its second online sports book license, according to media reports.

"Rhode Island has selected Bally’s Corporation to operate the state’s second licensed online sportsbook, the Rhode Island Lottery confirmed this week, ending a single-operator sports betting market that had been in place since 2019," according to BettorsInsider.

"The Rhode Island Lottery opened applications for a second vendor in late 2025, and Bally’s beat out Rush Street Interactive’s BetRivers for the license. Only these two companies submitted bids, according to Lottery Deputy Director Michael O’Rourke," World Casino News reported.
