Connecticut Fugitive Captured In Rhode Island: Cops
The arrested man was held pending his return to Connecticut, police said.
A Connecticut fugitive was captured in Rhode Island, police said.
Douglas Markie, 52, a resident of Pawcatuck, was arrested Tuesday by the Rhode Island State Police Adult Correctional Institutions Investigations Unit, the state police said in a media release.
"Mr. Markie was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs' Department pending his return to Connecticut," the release said.
