CT Man Charged With Sex Assault, Child Solicitation In Rhode Island

The Connecticut man surrendered to the law, police said.

A Rhode Island State Police investigation led to the arrest of a Connecticut man on sexual assault, child solicitation and other charges, police said.

Keyon Williams, 22, was arrested about 10 p.m. Monday on a charges of third-degree sexual assault, indecent solicitation of a child, electronically disseminating indecent material to a minor, and Cyberstalking and cyberharrassment, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

The charges resulted from a barracks investigation and the attorney general's office requesting a bench warrant, according to the release.

Williams "surrendered and was subsequently arraigned in Providence Superior Court," the release said.
