PROVIDENCE, RI — The Providence Friars downed Boston College 3-2 in a Valentine's Day home matchup.

The Friars improved to 11-19-2 overall and 8-12-2 in Hockey East play while the Crusaders fell to 18-11-3 overall and 10-10-3 in conference action.

The Friars conclude the regular season next weekend, beginning with a road game against Boston University at 6 p.m. Friday at Walter Brown Arena in Boston.
