Providence Man Charged With Sexual Assault: Cops

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was arrested on sexual assault charges, police said.

Olusegun Richardson, 40, was arrested about 8 a.m. Thursday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Richardson was taken into custody by the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, the release said.

Richardson was investigated by the Rhode Island State Police Special Victims Unit, according to the release.

"Mr. Richardson was processed at the Massachusetts State Police Milbury Barracks and later transported to Milford District Court," the release said.
