Task Force Takes Down Wanted East Providence Man: Police
The East Providence man was jailed, police said.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — A wanted East Providence man was captured Thursday by the Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force, police said.
Joseph Botelho, 57, was arrested Tuesday, the state police said in a media release.
Botelho was wanted on a parole bench warrant for the original charges of assaultive behavior, inappropriate behavior and failure to comply with the rules and conditions of parole, according to the release.

"Mr. Botelho was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center," the release said.
