Thunderstorms Wednesday Night In Rhode Island

Thunderstorms will batter Rhode Island Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.

The Wednesday night storms will bring between a tenth and a quarter of an inch of rainfall, the National Weather Service forecast said, with a low temperature of about 50 degrees.

A foggy Thursday morning warms up to 68 degrees when it becomes partly sunny, but there is a chance of more rain Thursday night when it cools to about 49 degrees.

The National Weather Service calls for possibly even more showers Friday with a high of 69, and then a chance of rain and thunderstorms Friday night as the temperature drops to 47 degrees.

Saturday will be sunny with a high near 59 and Saturday night mostly cloudy with a low of about 45 degrees.

There is a chance of showers Sunday as the temperature hovers around 59 degrees and more showers Sunday night with the low dropping to about 37.
