Barrington High School Alumni Return to Soccer Field
Players from the 1970s, '80s, '90s and 2000s took part in the annual Barrington High School alumni soccer game.

Twenty-one former soccer players returned to the scene of past glories for the 26th annual alumni soccer game Saturday afternoon. Players from four decades took part in the spirited but fun match, which the Blue team won 5-4, despite playing shorthanded for the entire second half.
Kurt Kovolyan (Class of 1991) and Chris Promades (Class of 1991) each scored two goals for the winning side. Scott Pickering (Class of 1989) chipped in two assists, including the game-winner to Promades to break a 4-4 tie in the final minute. The Blue team defense was anchored by Eric Opdyke (Class of 1989), Paul Breiding (Class of 1988) and Greg Rose (Class of 1979).
The game is played every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and is open to all BHS alumni soccer players.
