Updated: Arrest Made in Maple Avenue Shooting
According to the Barrington Fire Department's twitter feed, one person was injured around 6 p.m. Thursday

BARRINGTON, RI — Barrington police confirmed this morning they arrested Robert J. Fonseca in connection with last night's shooting. A report of shots fired and a car fleeing sent police and rescue to the area of 361 Maple Ave., around 6 p.m. Thursday.

According to emergency broadcasts, the car was described as a black BMW.

Police said Fonseca will be arraigned today on several felony charges.
One person was shot, according to WJAR-TV.

Capt. Scott Carroll, of the Barrington Fire Department, confirmed one person was transported.
The Patch is calling Barrington police and fire for comment and will update this story as information develops.
The police declined to comment this morning but said the chief will send a press release later today.
