There are many tpyes of spoken languages, and it is the popular way that we communicate to one another. There are other ways that we can express ourselves and one of them can be found in people who are developmental disabled.
A Centers for Disease Control study found that one in six children in the U.S has a developmental disability. Most of these children are belittling, shamed, and in some cases abandoned because of their special needs. What some people don't realize is that, yes they may have special needs, but they are needed specially, not just to the families that love and care for them, to the world as well. If we would listen to the developmental disabled we will hear a wonderful language.
