Hernandez Story Brings Shame to New England Patriot Fans

Aaron Hernandez has it all. Amazing talent, incredible athleticism, and a top five quarterback to throw him the ball. Over the past three years, Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski combined to make a dual Tight End threat for the Patriot offense that helped New England go deep into the playoffs and that made opposing defenses look foolish.

Because Rob Gronkowski's questionable health due to recent surgeries on his broken forearm and back and the departure of leading reciever Wes Welker to the Denver Broncos, Hernandez had a chance this year to become an even bigger part of the Patriot passing attack. That all got thrown away after reports said that Aaron Hernandez was involved in the murder of semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd. Even though the murder investigation is still underway, Hernandez is most likely guilty of obstruction of justice.

It truly is a shame. Such a young talented player with his whole life in front of him, and he had to go and get involved with something like this. It will be interesting to see what concequences he has to face in the future.
