Lady Eagles Fall Short in Hoops Championship
La Salle offense too much for Lady Eagles to handle in Division I Championship
The Lady Eagles fought hard but fell short in the Division I championship earlier Sunday losing to La Salle 62-29.
La Salle started off strong and didn't look back the whole game. Lasalle's Priscilla Dunphy lead the charge having a great game along with the rest of the La Salle team. The Lady Eagles team fought hard and played good defense throughout the course of the game but it just wasn't enough to hold back the La Salle offense.
Senior Caitlyn Nolan said after the game "The game tonight didn't really show how our season really went but I am very happy with the season we had and all the hard work that was put into it".

The Lady Eagles could not cap off the year with a state championship but had a very successful regular season finishing with a 22-2 record with hopes to return to the championship next year with alot of talented players returning to the lineup in 2014.
