Master Plan Public Meeting
May 13 & 30 2013
The East Bay Community Development Corporation (EBCDC) has formally filed an application for a permit to develop a $14.5 million 50-unit rental apartment complex on the Sowams Nursery property on Sowams Road in Barrington. A public hearing on the matter is scheduled for May 13 and 30th, 2013.
CODDER 02806 will make a formal presentation, and the public is invited to speak and ask questions. We have been assured by the Chair of the Planning Board that sufficient time will be allowed for public input.

Two dates have been scheduled since it is doubtful that all necessary business can be accomplished in less time. It may even go longer.
Needless to say these are critical meetings since they involve review of the “Master Plan” phase of the review process, and public input is very important. So please set these dates aside and plan on attending, and encourage neighbors to go as well.

Petitioning to Resume
Soon we will resume petitioning town residents concerning this proposed subdivision. Todate we have collected 527 signatures opposing the project, and will again solicit your help ingarnering public support.
