The Streak Is Over!

Miami Heat's streak ends at 27

Everyone loves to see a team that is unlikely to win and emerge victorious. That is, unless you are a fan of the team that is getting upset. In the mist of all the March Madness talk and all of the upsets that have been happening in college basketball, the Chicago Bulls defeated the Miami Heat last night 101-97, ending their historic 27 game winning streak.

What makes this win very different from others, is that not only did the Bulls put an end to the win streak, they were without two of their best players. Derrick Rose, who has been out the whole season and Joakim Noah who was scratched before last nights game.

With the Heat's streak ending at 27 victories, many non-heat fans are happy that at least one team can stop the Heat. At least for now. The playoffs are coming up soon and many people who are "Heat Haters" fear that Miami will dominate and take home a championship. There is hope though. Anything can happen in sports and the Heat could get upset and if that does happen the nation will be shocked, especially the city of Miami who has high expectations for them in the upcoming weeks.
