The Bayside branch of the YMCA of Greater Providence will host its third annual Swim with the Pumpkins event on Friday, October 17. Families are encouraged to sign up for one of three sessions: 4:30-5:30 pm; 5:45-6:45 pm; 7:00 - 8:00 pm. Up to 100 swimmers per session will be allowed, and everyone who will be swimming must register in advance. Children under six must be accompanied by an adult.
If you have never had the opportunity to swim with pumpkins, then this is your chance. This free family event is open to anyone who enjoys Halloween, wants to check out the YMCA for free or is a member of the Y and wants to celebrate with family and friends.
Additionally, check out the membership opportunities. If you join during the Swim with the Pumpkins event, the joiner’s fee is the same as the date - that’s right your joiner’s fee will only be $17. So attend the Swim with the Pumpkins event for free, and save on your membership.
