Coventry Cops Seeking To ID Man In Connection With Dave's Marketplace Theft
The man was pictured with a shopping cart full of groceries.
COVENTRY, RI — The Coventry Police Department is seeking to identify a man following a shoplifting incident at Dave's Marketplace.
"The Coventry Police Department is seeking assistance with identifying the depicted alleged shoplifter, who concealed items from our local Dave’s Marketplace on his person, before leaving the store without paying," the department said in a social media post.

"Even though it was a holiday weekend when this happened, that was not the kind of discount the store was giving out," the post said.

The man left in a light-colored Nissan sedan, according to the post, which asked anyone who recognizes him to call 401-826-1100 or email Tips@CoventryPD.org.
