Arts Alive! Dance, Singing, Improv classes!

Class sizes will be limited.

Our first session of classes will begin the week of October 1st.  Classes will be structured around two fifteen-week sessions with one 1-hour class per week. Each session will culminate in a performance for family and friends.

Theatrical Dance:   Classes are focused on blending music and dance genres, theatrical expression and stage presence.  Taught by Elizabeth Jernigan (see bio under Staff), the classes offer an innovative, exciting alternative to traditional dance classes, taken from Jazz roots -  kids learn “Broadway” style, incorporating energy, emotion, attitude and “telling a story” through dance – while discovering the spirit of all kinds of music!

Creative Dance: For 3-5 year olds! This class will introduce our upcoming performers to dance and movement to music. Children will learn how to be expressive with movement, introduce them to dance technique and burn off some energy!

Acting / Improv:  Classes introduce or further develop acting and improvisation skills. Kids learn improvisational techniques through exercises and games taken straight from the legendary “Groundlings” and “Whose Line is it Anyway” Improv groups.  This class is energetic, sometimes hilarious, and teaches actors to think on their feet and use their creativity!  Taught by Elise Arsenault (see bio under Staff).

Singing for Musical Theatre:  Explore the fundamentals of singing and movement for vocal performance, with a focus on musical theatre and popular music.  Everyone is a star in this class which culminates in a final performance!  This session, the class will focus on becoming performance-ready and expanding individual skills. Pricing

Theatrical Dance & Singing for Musical Theatre | $225 per session (15 weeks per session)
Acting/Improv | $175 per session (15 weeks per session)

Creative Dance | $150 per session (15 weeks per session)

Discounts available:  Sibling discount of $25 off the 2nd child’s tuition.  Multi-class discount of $25 off the 2nd class. (discounts are only valid on classes within the same session)
