Save the Bay is holding a Beach Slam event at Tillingthast Farm to raise funds for marine science education in Rhode Island schools. There will be kayaking and paddleboarding run by Eastern Mountain Sports, a rock wall, fly fishing hosted by L.L. Bean, a rowing demonstration by the Barrington-based East Bay Rowing Club, crafts, field games, plenty of food, lawn games, a bounce house, a raffle and live music. Live music, too.
