The Barrington Recreation Department is hosting an Open House for summer camp registrations. Representatives for the available camps and programs will be present to talk about all of the programs being made available to the Barrington Community. This is the first opportunity to register your children for the various camps/programs being offered. Registration forms and information will become available on the town's web page at www.barrington.ri.gov. - Recreation, and at the Recreation Department beginning Monday, April 16th. The open house will take place in the Library Auditorium Gallery located on the second floor from 10:00am-Noon. Such camps and programs that will be available are: Chess, Camp Pokanoket, for children ages 7-12; Tiny Tots, for children ages 4-7; tennis camp for children ages 6-12 with an advanced tennis camp for children ages 10-15; Seamanship/Sailing program with the Herreshoff Marine Museum; and a golf and multi-sports camp with the US Sports Insititute.
