Fiddle 'n Folk Fest Returning to Haines Park
A lineup of fiddle-laced musicians is on tap at Haines Memorial State Park on Sept. 15.

A homegrown music festival returns to Haines Memorial State Park in Barrington and RiversideΒ in three weeks.
The third annual Fiddle βn Folk Fest is on tap β as in foot-tapping and hand-clapping. It will run from noon to 6 pm on Sunday, Sept. 15.Β
The free festival is being organized by theΒ Local Brew Coffeehouse crew of Barrington. But it features a lineup of musicians from throughout southern New England.

- Bluegrass Invitation Band
- French Roast with Michelle, Alan, and Rachel

- Emmalee Holmes-Hicks with Rachel Panitch

- Bay Spring FolkΒ
There also will be fiddle workshops fromΒ 10 to 11 am (Cajun Fiddle by Michelle Kaminsky) andΒ 11 am to noon (Improvisation Games by Rachel Panitch).Β You can sign up for these workshops atΒ sydney_mike@fullchannel.net.Β

And there will be craft vendors, food trucks, and kids activities to keep everyone very occupied.Β
The event is free with the sponsorship of the RI State Council on the Arts, Wildflour Vegan Bakery, Barrington Public Library, The BAY Team, Bay Spring Community Center, Barrington Parks and Recreation Department, and RI Department of Environmental Management.
