Discover how to live in the present moment with a "Let Your Yoga Dance" workshop at Barrington Public Library. Join Mary Scannell to learn how Yoga Dance can encourage mindfulness and gratitude. "Let Your Yoga Dance" uses a blend of guided and spontaneous movements to boost concentration, promote fitness, and relieve stress. The class starts with planned steps and eventually sets dancers free to create their own patterns of movement.
Everyone can yoga dance because the dancers make it as vigorous or as gentle as they choose. Dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat and water. The classes will run from 7 to 8 PM in the library’s Gallery Room.
