Photo Exhibit All About Family

Ever since his twins, Walter and Lucy, were born, Barrington dad David DelPoio has been documenting the life of his family through photography.

“It started as a sort of personal diary from parenthood,” he said. “In many cases, all these small moments say so much more than I can remember, especially with the twins.”

You can see what DelPoio is talking about this month at the Barrington library. His exhibit, "My Family, Your Family", combines his personal photography with pictures from the many portraits and childhood photography sessions he has had with other Barrington families.

“These images represent my love of family,” DelPoio said. “Whether I’m photographing my own family or others. I’d like to think my approach carries over into all of the work that I do, so it only felt natural combining these pictures for this exhibit.”
